Becoming a Junior Refuge Manager is a great way to learn about the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge! Stop by the Herbert H. Bateman Educational and Administrative Center and ask for a Junior Refuge Manager booklet to begin your journey. The booklet has several pages of questions about refuge trails, wildlife, and habitats in the form of neat puzzles and games! Once you have completed the booklet, take it back to the refuge visitor center and a refuge employee will check your answers, sign your booklet, and give you an official "Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge Junior Refuge Manager" patch. You can take it home and show all your friends!!
